Leveraging Agriculture for Nutrition in South Asia (LANSA)

LANSA is a research partnership working together to find out how agriculture and agri-food systems can be better designed to improve nutrition. LANSA produces innovative research to inform agricultural and food value-chain policies, programmes and interventions. They aim to generate evidence that, with practical application, can improve nutrition outcomes. To make sure the research is relevant to decision makers and other stakeholders they place special emphasis on research uptake. They also facilitate knowledge sharing and learning between partners.
Led by M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, we are a research programme made up of six organisations:
- BRAC
- Collective for Social Science (CSSR)
- Institute of Development Studies (IDS)
- Leverhulme Centre for Integrative Research on Agriculture and Helath (LCIRAH)
- Department for International Development (DFID)
