The main purpose of this job is to create and lead a new business unit offering assessment and development services to our clients in the ‘for purpose’ sector globally. This will include developing and running assessment centre services for clients as an integral part of recruitment campaigns and also supporting clients undertaking organisational development looking to develop their leaders internally.

This is an opportunity to use your skills as an occupational chartered psychologist, and entrepreneurial outlook, to develop a profit centre within Oxford HR providing a range of key assessment and development services to our clients.

Person Specification

Experience and Knowledge

  • Qualified Occupational Psychologist
  • Trained in delivering and testing psychometric instruments, ideally in multi-cultural environments and international settings
  • Experience in delivering training to teams and individually
  • An interest in, or experience of working in, the development sector

Skills and abilities

  • Ability to develop strong client and candidate relationships
  • Ability to project manage with a high degree of accuracy and insight, a range of assessment and development projects across multiple locations and often under tight timescales
  • Ability to win business
  • Ability to grow and effectively manage a team of Assessors and Associates to support projects
  • Ability to work effectively with people from different cultures and backgrounds, remotely and face to face
