The Role

CaLP is looking for an experienced IT specialist or IT Project Manager to lead, drive and manage all elements of an IT systems development project. This project will result in changes to all the main IT systems used by CaLP, with the aim of ensuring CaLP has systems which are fit for purpose, reflective of the needs of the organisation, appropriate to its organisation structure and which are future proofed as far as possible.  The project will involve the migration of the CaLP Secretariat to a new email system, transitioning to a new document management system, transitioning website hosting, providing technical input for the development of a new website and undertaking a review of other IT systems used by CaLP.   

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience of successfully managing IT systems and tools migration projects
  • Experience of working across geographically disbursed international organisations
  • Relevant IT qualifications (Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA)
  • Strong understanding of managing data across platforms ensuring successful integration.
  • Proven experience of managing software agencies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of quality outputs
  • Proven experience of managing projects in a multi-stakeholder and cross-functional environment
  • Initiative and ability to be self-managing
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style
