The program is a collaborative educational initiative aligned to the Ministry of Education and Sports’ (MoES) 2016-2020 Education Sector Development Plan and Australia’s Education Delivery Strategy 2013-18.
The goal of BEQUAL is to ensure more girls and boys, especially those experiencing disadvantage, complete a quality primary education, achieving literacy, numeracy and other relevant life skills.
