Ramallah Center for Human Rights Studies

Ramallah Center for Human Rights Studies (RCHRS) is an independent, secular Palestinian NGO committed to the promotion and protection of human rights, tolerance and democratic values in Palestinian society. It was established in 1988 by a group of academics, researchers and human rights activists and has now a wide network of associates and researchers. RCHRS aims to empower people to exercise their rights, to show tolerance towards others, and to feel better able to influence their own and their communities' situation.

Work involves educational activities, conferences, workshops, research, advocacy and publicating studies and reports in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and the region. RCHRS is a funding member of the Arab Network for Tolerance and is a member of several national and international networks.
